Dennis Ray Oglesby went to be with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 28, 2017. A life long native of Stanislaus County, Dennis grew up in Turlock, son of Fannie Mae Oglesby and father Herbert Ray Oglesby. He was a graduate of Turlock High School, class of 1961. Dennis is survived by wife Marlene Brown-Oglesby, daughters DeeAnn Oglesby-Harmon, Denise Oglesby-Pearman and sister-in-law Beverly Brown-Redick. Dennis and Marlene would have celebrated their 53rd year wedding anniversary this month.
Joaquin Richard Rocha, age 96," entered into rest" on Tuesday March 28, 2017 in Turlock, Ca. Mr. Rocha was born in Santa Nella (Volta) and raised in the Gustine- Newman area. He was a dairyman all his life, having his own dairy and then working at other local dairies before retiring. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Gustine Seniors. He also served in the U.S. Army Air Core in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Marianne Rocha, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Loren LeRoy Nyman is now in the loving arms of Jesus. He was not afraid to share his opinion or crack a joke to anyone, be it his close friends and family or people he had just met. He loved to make people smile and was always a bright light in any room he entered.
Rose Mary Grissom was born in Nampa, Idaho and passed away in Delhi at the age of 69. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who never knew a stranger. She found great joy in helping others. Rosemary was a very hard worker and had worked as a beekeeper for the last 45 years. Her hobbies included fishing, hunting and gardening.

Randall "Randy" Pristas died of a fatal heart attack on March 17, 2017 in Turlock, California at age 46. Randy was born in Hayward, California and lived in the Bay Area until 2001. Randy was a "fuller than life" person who loved his life and family. He touched all he met with his uniquely funny antics, just being who he was, making everybody feel special. Richard Dudley (Dick) Sawyer passed away peacefully on March 18, 2017 due to complications from a stroke. The only child of Ralph M. (Tom) and Nora J. Sawyer, Dick was born in Fresno, California in 1931. He grew up in Merced Falls until the age of 13 when the family moved to Turlock. He attended Turlock High School (graduated in 1949) where he excelled in five sports and was honored to be named into the Turlock High School Sports Hall of Fame. Blanche Norma Joyce Pote was born in Wilmington, Delaware, to Houston and Oyma Pote on January 2, 1923. She moved with her family to the Eastern Shore of Maryland at the age of five and attended elementary and high school there and college in the Washington DC area. She met her husband, Dr. Ralph Truitt, in Los Angeles, California, while in training to be a nurse at White Memorial Hospital. They were married on December 23, 1943 in Glendale, California.
