Henry was born in Manteca to Henry and Josephine Rocha in 1925. He later moved to Crows Landing where he met the love of his life, Thelma, and was drafted into World War II where he served in the Army. After his time in the service, he moved to Turlock and he and Thelma were married and he began farming.
Henry belonged to Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock. His interests included photography, fishing and spending time at the ocean.
Billy Joe Tacker, 74, of Turlock, passed away after a long illness. His wife Wendy was by his side as she has been for more than 43 years. Bill served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force for a total of 20 years. He worked for the City of Turlock for 22 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping, fishing, and after retirement, traveling in his motor home.
Germano Bettencourt, 84, of Hilmar, died Oct. 30 in Turlock.

Bart was born in Bayonne, France of French and Spanish Basque parentage. He came to the United States with his parents and settled in San Francisco.
Evelyn Wine, 82, of Escalon, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday.
She was born in Ventura, Calif. to Basil and Clara Norman. Evelyn was raised in San Francisco then moved to Modesto in the early 1950s and settled in Escalon in 1967.
Alice June Telford, 50, of Stevinson, died Sept. 14 in Stevinson. She was born July 5, 1960 in Arkansas, Kansas.

Vernon was born to Vernon and Johnnie Bradford in San Francisco in 1948. He enjoyed sports and was an avid Steelers fan. He also coached basketball and football and was a karate instructor. Vernon was an artist and liked music. He ran the Youth Center on 4th Street Park for many years and also worked for the City of Modesto.
Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Mulnix, 83, was born Dec. 23, 1926 and passed away Sept. 15, 2010 - one day short of her 65th wedding anniversary.

Louie Cabral, 82, of Turlock passed away on April 17, 2014. He was born May of 1931 on the family ranch to Antonio and Agusta Cabral. He enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Cabral's Backhoe Service for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of Turlock V.F.W. and he volunteered for the area Festas.

Cheryl was called home by the Lord 11:11AM on April 7, 2014. She passed peacefully away with her husband and family all around her at Alexander Cohen Hospice in Hughson.
Jim was born in Turlock, California on April 18, 1922 and passed away on April 16, 2014 at the age of 91. After graduating from Turlock High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served under General George S. Patton during World War II.
