Josephine Avila, 102, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Saturday, March 12. Josephine was born in Rayon, Sonora, Mexico to Andres and Guadalupe Villa in 1908. In the earlier 1930s, she moved to Brawley, Calif. and lived in Turlock since 1947. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, YLI and the Altar Society.
