Babe Boiser, 93 of Turlock passed away, Wednesday, at Memorial Hospital in Modesto. She was born to Leoncia and Francisco Hipolito on Oahu, in Hawaii. In 1924, her family moved to California. She lived in Stockton, Isleton, Walnut Grove, Livingston, Hilmar and Turlock, California. Babe was a member of the Filipino Community and many other Filipino organizations. Wayne Chandler, 64 of Turlock, passed away in the early morning hours on Friday, after a long battle with cancer. One of seven siblings, he was born to Alvin and Dixie Chandler in Turlock and attended Turlock High School. Raised in their family home on Sousa Street, his first job was for Souza's Furniture. Robert E. Larsson, died at 81 years of age in Turlock CA, on his birthday, November 15th. He will be sorely missed by many in San Diego and Turlock as a beloved veterinarian, friend, father and grandfather. He is survived by his son, Deron Larsson of Turlock CA, his daughter Robyn Edwards of Tucson, AZ and six grandchildren. Darlene Arbina Borba Prouty, 83, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19th surrounded by her loving family at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA. After a long fight, her heart, body, mind and soul are now finally at peace.

Norene was born in Buckeye, Iowa to Bernie and Edna Evans. Her family lived in Washington for a time where Norene went to high school and later nursing school. She moved to Turlock in 1943 and has remained here since.
Linda Ann Johnson, lifelong resident of Turlock, passed away at the age of 68. She graduated from Turlock High School in 1963 and married Stanley Johnson in 1967. Linda worked at Emanuel Medical Center for 27 years; and in her spare time she enjoyed watching sports. Linda's family would like to thank Hospice of Emanuel for their tender care in the last few weeks.
Norma Emmelea Russell, 87, died November 6, 2013. She was born in Claremore, Oklahoma, the first of three children. Her family moved to California when she was just a young girl. She loved spending time with her family, taking her summer vacations in Murray, Kentucky, and she loved working in her yard with her little dog, Chuckie, at her side.
Maurice Richard Moniz Jr. (Junior), 19 of Ceres California passed away on November 8, 2013. Junior was born and raised in Ceres and graduated from Ceres High in 2012. Junior worked side by side with his dad building a family business, Moniz Tallow Company Inc. He was a momma & daddies boy. Frances L. Williams – 75 of Modesto passed away on Tuesday. She was born in Cordell Oklahoma to Rosia and James Collins. Raised in Denair, Frances lived in Modesto for over 30 years and worked for Gallo for 33 years before retiring.
