Public viewing will be Sunday, December 29th from 1 – 4pm and Dad's memorial service will take place Monday, December 30th at 2pm with graveside service immediately following. Pastor Joseph Robertson of New Hope Community Church will officiate.
Vynita Rose, age 85, of Turlock, CA passed away on December 24, 2013. Vynita was born in Lees Summit, Missouri to Fred and Merle Halcomb. She moved to California at a young age and lived in the Placerville area before the family moved to Patterson in the early 1940's. Vynita married her high school sweetheart Anthony Rose in 1948. Vynita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Vynita was active in many things, she loved her horses, painting, crafts and most of all her bowling. She was a member of the WIBC and ABC.
Hard working hands came to rest on Dec.14 2013 after a nine year battle with cancer at home in the care of her grandson Chris Martin of Hilmar ca under the direction of Emanuel medical facility hospice program.

She graduated from Pitman High School where she was very involved in sports; playing volleyball, basketball and running track. For the last six years she enjoyed working for Starbucks as a barista. Angelina "Angie" T. Goeken-Taylor, 70, passed away December 17, 2013 at Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale, CA. She was born to the late Elias and Mary Dias on July 26, 1943 in Modesto, CA. In addition to her parents, she joins in heaven her first husband, James J. Goeken of 19 years, her second husband, William R. Tony was born in Rawlins, Wyoming to Benito and Refugio Aguiniga in 1922. While still an infant, he moved with his family to their native country of Ziquitaro, Michoacan, Mexico. When Tony was a young man of 17 years, he returned to the United States, coming to reside in Turlock, CA. At the age of 21, he married his loving wife, Angelita. William E. Humphrey, 93, of Turlock passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Wednesday, Nov. 27th. Bill was born in Monrovia, CA to Norman and Fannie Humphrey and was raised in the Phoenix area. After graduating high school, Bill joined the Army Air Corp and served as a Pilot during WWII, serving in the Pacific/Tinian & the Philippines.

Louie Cabral, 82, of Turlock passed away on April 17, 2014. He was born May of 1931 on the family ranch to Antonio and Agusta Cabral. He enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Cabral's Backhoe Service for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of Turlock V.F.W. and he volunteered for the area Festas.

Turlock resident Annette Pauline (Lodewyck) Mayer, 94, died April 15, 2014, at Brandel Manor Nursing Home where she lived for the past six years.
Cheryl was called home by the Lord 11:11AM on April 7, 2014. She passed peacefully away with her husband and family all around her at Alexander Cohen Hospice in Hughson.
Jim was born in Turlock, California on April 18, 1922 and passed away on April 16, 2014 at the age of 91. After graduating from Turlock High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served under General George S. Patton during World War II.
