Visitation for Samuel Paul Samuel will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on July 12 at Allen Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. July 13 at the Holy Apostolic Catholic Church of the East, St. Zaia Parish, in Modesto. He passed away in Fontana, Calif. on July 7.
Jonathan Michael Sullivan
A memorial mass for Jonathan Michael Sullivan, 45, of Valley Springs, Calif., is scheduled for 10 a.m. July 11 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 162 Church Hill Rd., San Andreas, Calif. The mass will be officiated by Father Patrick Curran. Burial will be private. Jonathan died in his uncle's residence in Turlock.
Bill J. Watts
Graveside services for Bill Watts, 67, of Modesto, are scheduled for 9 a.m. July 9 at Denair District Cemetery, 2501 East Zeering Rd., in Denair. Services will be officiated by Rev. Fred Bueto. Bill died in his residence on April 19, 2009.
Jean A. James
Private services will be held at a later date for Jean James, 67, of Turlock. Jean passed away on Sunday at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Hospital. She was born in Turlock to Manuel and Irene Silva in 1942. Jean graduated from Turlock High School in 1959. She lived in El Paso, Texas, Santa Cruz, and Modesto. She settled back in Turlock in 1993. She enjoyed the outdoors and birding.
Benito Garcia, Jr.
Visitation for Benito Garcia, Jr., 47, of Turlock, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 10, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Inurnment/burial will be held at 10 a.m. July 15 at Patterson District Cemetery.
Caroline De Salles
A funeral service will be held for Caroline De Salles, 90, at 9:30 a.m. July 9 at Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. in Turlock. Interment will follow the service.
Russell Loren Tolbert
Services are pending at the Merced District Cemetery for Russell Loren Tolbert, 44. He passed away in Merced on June 15.
Mark Shelby Tolbert
Services are pending at the Merced District Cemetery for Mark Shelby Tolbert, 45. He passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Merced.

Visitation for Norman Medeiros Sr., 77, of Hilmar, will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. July 8 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel in Turlock. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. July 9 also at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. It will be officiated by Father Hilary Silva. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
Edward “Eddie” J. Breves
Visitation will be held for Eddie Breves, 70, of Patterson, at 10 a.m. July 8, followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery.
Devona “Bonnie” Wickstrom
Visitation for Devona "Bonnie" Wickstrom, 82, of Turlock, will be held from noon to 7 p.m. July 10 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. in Turlock. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. July 11, also at Turlock Funeral Home. Graveside services will be private at Turlock Memorial Park.

A memorial service will be held for Lorene Gonzalez, 33, of Winton, at 3 p.m. July 11 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Whiteness in Winton.
Laureano A. Agueda
Visitation for Laureano Agueda, 71, of Hilmar, will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 9 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel in Turlock. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. July 9, also at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias. A mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. July 10 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Ave., Turlock. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.

Visitation for Dilbag Singh Gill, 46, of Modesto, will be held from noon to 5 p.m. July 11 at Allen Mortuary in Turlock. A funeral service will be held at noon on July 12, also at Allen Mortuary.
