Robert was born in Riverside, CA to Bobby and Patricia Herrington in 1959 and passed away at the age of 54 in Modesto, CA. Robby graduated from Denair High School in 1978 where he participated in football, track, and wrestling. Robby loved country music and attending rodeos; he always dreamed of becoming a bull rider. Robby was known for being a caring person who loved everybody.
Betty Lou Reeser went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 23, 2014. She was born July 2, 1931 to Forest and Ethel Wampler in Missouri, one of four children.

Alma Louise Elliott, 88, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center. Alma was born in Dryer, Arkansas to Benjamin and Lessie Blanchard. She lived most of her life in the Delhi area. She worked several years as a Nursing Assistant and later worked on the line of Valley Fresh in Turlock. Alma was a woman of faith and love. She taught her own children and she taught Sunday School at the United Pentecostal Church in Delhi. Her children were her world. She was loved by all who knew her.
Lloyd passed away after a short illness. Born in Trenton Missouri, Lloyd joined the Army and specialized in airplane engine mechanics. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the Victory WWII Medal and the American Theatre Ribbon. After an Honorable Discharge from the Army, Lloyd went on as a civilian at Castle Air Force Base in Merced CA. where he operated the aircraft engine change dept. and later supervised the vehicle maintenance dept. until his retirement in 1978.
Nancy Ying Gong, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 8, 2014. Nancy is survived by her loving husband Guy Ming Gong; son Daniel Gong and wife Wailan; son Raymond Gong and wife Mari; daughter Lisa Wong; daughter Tina Gong; grandchildren Brandon and Gavin Gong, Bryan, Diana, and Anthony Wong. Anne Matson went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, June 12, 2014. She was born on January 1, 1923 in Chicago, Il. She was raised in Gary, Indiana where she attended local schools and graduated from Emerson High School. She moved with her family to Delhi, California in the late 1940's. She met the love of her life, Samuel Matson, and they were married and moved to Turlock in 1951. Mary Galbraith Thomas Peterson, a longtime Turlock resident, passed away on March 29, 2014. She was two months shy of her 98 birthday.
Ronda was born in Modesto and grew up in the Turlock and Waterford area. She was a loving and caring person, who was always trying to help others and make them happy. Ronda enjoyed camping and being outdoors, but most of all she treasured time spent with her children and sisters.

Alice Pera Yonan, 88, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Una Yonan, and sister, Diane Pera Yohannan. She is survived by her son, David Yonan, and daughter, Dina Yonan Gehring, her two sisters, Lillian Pera Abraham and Mariam Pera Miroo, and brother-in-law Albert D. Miroo. She grew up in Salinas until grade 4 when the family moved to the Central Valley. Shara attended Wakefield School, Dutcher School and Turlock High where she met the love of her life and future husband Chris Valadez. She attended Merced College as an Ag Business Major and worked at Home Depot. She is preceded in death by her brother Moses Alvarez, and Grandfather Guadalupe Alvarez.

Hilda Ventura, age 79, passed away peacefully at Alexander Cohen Hospice House with her family by her side. She was born in Modesto to Frank and Rose Oliveira and lived most of her life in Turlock. She was married to her husband Louie Ventura for 60 years. Hilda worked for American Thread Company for 20 years until they closed. She retired from Emanuel Medical Center as a cook. Cmdr. Kenneth T. Sanders (1919-2014), pilot US Navy (retired), passed away peacefully on August 31, 2014 in Pensacola, FL. He was born in San Francisco as a 5th generation Californian whose family had migrated to CA in the late 1770's as part of the first overland expedition to the small hamlet of San Diego commanded by Juan Bautista de Anza travelling across the desert from Mission San Javier near Tuscon.
