The family of Doice McAlister announces his peaceful passing on April 27 in Turlock. He was 80 years old. Born in Asher, Okla., the family moved to California in 1946, where Doice graduated high school in Kerman in 1948. Later, he served in the Army and was a decorated soldier during the Korean War. Doice returned to Kerman where he met the love of his life, Deanna Reynolds. They were married on July 22, 1954.
