Our beloved mother, Mozell McAbee, 94, passed on Sunday, Oct. 17 at Brandel Manor in Turlock. She passed from this life into eternity to "Sleep in Jesus" and awaits the resurrection of the dead according to the Bible in the Gospel of John 5:28, 29, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, I Corinthians 15:51-57 and Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6.
Emmaline Hamrick passed away surrounded by her loving family on Oct. 14, 2010, at Hy-Lond Convalescent Hospital in Modesto. Emmaline was born January 1918 in Marysville, Calif. to the late James and Goldie Shirtz. She lived in Modesto from 1952 till 1964, and then lived in Plumas County and Butte County until she moved to Turlock in 2002.
Louie Cabral, 82, of Turlock passed away on April 17, 2014. He was born May of 1931 on the family ranch to Antonio and Agusta Cabral. He enlisted in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Cabral's Backhoe Service for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of Turlock V.F.W. and he volunteered for the area Festas.
Mr. Philip Victor Fanelli, age 81 "Entered into Rest" on Friday, April 18, 2014 at his Hilmar residence. Mr. Fanelli was born in Los Banos, CA and has lived in for 43 years. He has been a dairyman for 55 years as well owner of the Fanelli Family Dairy in Hilmar. He was very active in the Hilmar community for many years. He was a member of the Calvary Assembly of Hilmar. Turlock resident Annette Pauline (Lodewyck) Mayer, 94, died April 15, 2014, at Brandel Manor Nursing Home where she lived for the past six years.
Cheryl was called home by the Lord 11:11AM on April 7, 2014. She passed peacefully away with her husband and family all around her at Alexander Cohen Hospice in Hughson.
Jim was born in Turlock, California on April 18, 1922 and passed away on April 16, 2014 at the age of 91. After graduating from Turlock High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served under General George S. Patton during World War II.
Ron "Ronnie" Enos passed away peacefully on April 4, 2014 in his sleep at home after a short battle with cancer surrounded by those he loved. Ron and his wife Pam resided at "Enos Ranch" here in Mariposa for the past 12 years after moving from Oakdale where he lived for 26 years. He retired from Lawrence Livermore National Lab in 2001, as a Lab Assistant. Ron also operated Big Oak Stables for 17 years in Cull Canyon.
Naomi Geraldine Rust, 89, of Turlock, died suddenly on April 6, 2014.
