Joe was born in Newman, CA to Joseph and Mary Lopes and passed away at the age of 71. He attended Canal Grammar School in Newman, Keyes Elementary School and graduated from Turlock High School in 1963. After graduating high school he moved to San Leandro and became a union carpenter, which was his occupation for many years. Joe was a lifetime Raiders fan, enjoyed drag racing, fishing and duck hunting. He was proud to donate to St. Joseph's Indian School. Joe was a loving father and grandfather.

Sherman was born Nov. 5, 1926 to Roy and Agnes Walner. He lived most of his life in Turlock. Sherman proudly served in the US Navy from Feb. 1944 to May 1946 as a motor machinist. He loved his plants and animals, especially his faithful dog Mindy. He loved people and always enjoyed the big dinners at home; there was always room for one more. After high school he came to Turlock to help his father at Olde Tyme Pastries. Mike was a very devoted father, son, friend, and partner, who was loved by everyone he met. Doris Anderson - beloved sister, aunt, and great aunt – passed away Tuesday April 19, 2016 due to complications of a stroke suffered the week before. She was 93. A long-time resident of Turlock, Doris spent the last two decades loving life in Desert Hot Springs.
