Gloria Green, 62, of Modesto, passed away on October 2nd at her home surrounded by family and close friends after a short battle with cancer. Gloria was born in Merced, CA to Felicitas Buelna and Manuel Munoz. She was married to Audie Green for 25 years in Modesto where they raised their family.
Mary was born to Raymond and Margaret Rodgers in Red Bluff California. At age six she moved with the family Washington State where they homesteaded a farm, before moving to Modesto. She graduated from Grace Davis High school, and then attended UC Berkeley and UC Davis where she graduated. After graduation she lived in San Francisco and worked in shipping for TriValley Growers, where she met her husband. Betty Lee Varian passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Betty was born to Paul and Margaret Erickson Nov. 11, 1925 in Modesto, California. She graduated from Hughson High School and attended college. She worked as a bookkeeper, however her proudest accomplishment was her role as mother, grandmother and homemaker. Betty enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, baking and creating beautiful treasures with arts and crafts.

Iris Mendonca, 81, of Turlock, CA passed away at Brandel Manor in Turlock on September 21, 2016. Iris was born to Willard and Gladys Grose in Wauneta, NE. Her family eventually settled in California where she attended Johnson Joint School and graduated from Turlock High School in 1953. After graduation, she attended MJC for a year.
Kathryn Lorraine Liles, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away unexpectedly in her home last week. Born March 2, 1964 in Castro Valley, CA, Kathryn never left the state and spent her adolescence in Fremont and Gustine. She loved to bowl, to dance, to sing, to laugh, to love, and to argue (she would tell you it's just spirited debate). She was the most intelligent woman I ever knew; her mind operated a mile a minute and one never knew where conversations with her would end up.
