Bobbie Cheves, 87, of Turlock passed away peacefully on February 18, 2015. Bobbie was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma. When she was young, her family moved to Pittsburg, CA. As a senior in high school, Bobbie moved to Modesto where she graduated from Modesto High School. She married Gene in 1947 and they raised their family in Ceres, CA. After retiring from the Telephone Company, Bobbie and Gene enjoyed traveling and line dancing. She spent the last several years of her life in Turlock, CA. Pete Stavrianoudakis, passed away last Saturday at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 28, 1936 to Pantelis and Maria Stavrianoudakis. He was a lifelong resident of Hilmar, where he attended grammar school and graduated from Hilmar High School. Pete was a farmer in Hilmar for most of his life and was involved with several community organizations including, Hilmar FFA, Valley Tractor Pullers Association, Hilmar Footbal Boosters and was a member of the Hilmar Lions Club since 1968. He was also a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Modesto.
Bill was born and raised in Turlock. He graduated from Turlock High School in 1971 and CSU Stanislaus in 1975. Bill was very active in sports throughout his school years, playing basketball and baseball and later traveling overseas with Athletes in Action and Sports Ambassadors. Bill was an evangelist for all of his adult life. He started evangelism classes at Monte Vista Chapel and enjoyed teaching Bible studies. Bill gave generously of himself to others, investing in their lives. He was a substitute teacher with Turlock School District for many years.

Born in Oct. of 1925 in Yonkers, New York to Michael and Anna Yohannan, Arthur lived life to the fullest as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Arthur led an exciting life as a commercial building architect with his designs spanning from Beverly Hills to Turlock, CA.
William was born in Newman, CA and passed away at the age 95 in Turlock. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the Air Force as a "propman" fixing propellers on airplanes. He enjoyed restoring antique cars over the years.

Paul Alvin Frost of Turlock peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the age of 96. He was born in Lodi to Emmett and Mary "Mollie" Frost and raised in the Turlock and Denair area. Paul was drafted into the U.S. Army on March 22, 1941. He served four and a half years of service during WWII. He was a Military Policeman, Heavy Machine Gunner, and a Light Truck Driver while serving in Alaska and Germany. During his service, he married Doris Babb. George Rust Linn, 90, a lifelong resident of Turlock passed away on February 5, 2015. He was born October 9, 1924 in Turlock where he was raised and graduated from Turlock High School. George served in the United States Army during World War II. He also studied at Modesto Junior College and Hardin-Simmons University in Texas in pursuance of his career in the medical field. Marjorie Miller, 92, of Turlock, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. Marjorie was born in Texas, one of 6 children born to Mr & Mrs Harrelson. She was raised in Missouri and attended schools in Missouri. She married Charles "Chuck" Edward Miller in Prineville, Oregon in 1945. Chuck and Marjorie and her family ran a commercial fishing business in Kenai, Alaska. She was a housewife and was involved with running the family business for 50 years.
