Dorothy Jean Volk, 87, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at 2:00 a.m., at her residence in Modesto, California. Dorothy was born on April 8, 1929 in Sterling Colorado, the daughter of Claude Ballard and Ruth Townsend. Dorothy had one brother, Thomas Ballard.
Born June Quisenberry on June 16, 1927 in Modesto, CA. June grew up in west Modesto and then the Ceres area. The Quisenberry name was well known back in June's earlier years and both Muncy and Quisenberry roads located just outside of Ceres are named after her family. June attended Jennings Grammar School and graduated from Ceres High School in 1945.

He was born in July of 1936 to Tony and Helen Pallios in Price, Utah. He is preceded in death by his parents and two of his sisters, Katherine Kelaides and Depina Pallios. Jeanne Overland, 85 of Castroville, Ca, passed away at her daughter's home after a brief illness. Jeanne was born in Naches, Wa. To Chauncey and Lottie (Woodworth) Edgerton. She graduated from Naches high in 1948. Jeanne married the love of her life, Donald Overland in Cupertino, Ca. in 1951. She was at his side while he served in the military for 20 years. After Don retired from the Air Force, they moved to California. Don and Jeanne belonged to the Turlock Free Methodist Church. After living 40 years in Turlock, they moved to the Monterey coast.
Becky passed away on November 16, 2016 at Emanuel Medical Center with friends and family by her side. She was born in 1952 to Frank and Betty Parson of Turlock, the youngest of three children. After living life to its fullest and on his terms, Bob, age 93, passed peacefully in his sleep on November 23rd, following complications from a fall. He was born in Turlock on June 6, 1923, to Royal and Edla Johnson. Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers, Wayne, Wally and Weldon. The Johnson boys all attended Johnson Joint Elementary and Turlock High School. Bob gave each teacher a "run for their money".
