Age 90 entered into rest in Turlock, Ca. She was born in Westville, Ok. And she was a charter member of Emanuel Baptist Church of Livingston where she was involved as a deaconess, music leader, served on the hostess and finance committees and worked in the food pantry. She also taught English as a second language and worked with Meals on Wheels in Livingston.
Juanita Mutschler, 92, of Turlock, passed away at Covenant Village Care Center. Juanita was born in Elk City, Oklahoma to Clyde and Dosha Wheeler and attended a one room school in Canute, OK. In November of 1938 she married the love of her life, Lewis Mutschler, who preceded her in death in 1990 after 52 years of marriage. They lived in San Jose, CA, moved to Rudy, Arkansas, and finally settled in Turlock in 1982. Juanita was also preceded in death by three siblings: Loyd Wheeler, Violet Stinson, and Joy Wheeler.

Eugene "Gener" Turner, 79 of Keyes, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House on Friday, November 11th. Eugene was born in Oklahoma to Charles and Frances Walker, and moved to California in 1941, settling in Stanislaus County. Gener has been a faithful member of the Keyes Assembly of God for many years, where she attended with her daughter Jeanette and friends. She was a wonderful, kind, giving and loving mother and friend. She enjoyed crocheting and making things for others.
Long-time Turlock resident and building contractor John Rankin Wallace passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 26. Known as "Rankin," he built many homes in the "Bettencourt Estates", "La Mesa Park" and "Peacock Estates" sections of Turlock.

Larry B. Peterson born April 1927 of Hilmar, California passed away Wednesday. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Amy Peterson of Hilmar. Ron "Ronnie" Enos passed away peacefully on April 4, 2014 in his sleep at home after a short battle with cancer surrounded by those he loved. Ron and his wife Pam resided at "Enos Ranch" here in Mariposa for the past 12 years after moving from Oakdale where he lived for 26 years. He retired from Lawrence Livermore National Lab in 2001, as a Lab Assistant. Ron also operated Big Oak Stables for 17 years in Cull Canyon.

Rose was born to Charles and Margaret Koelzer in 1918 and passed away in Turlock at the age of 96. She was a caring person who was both a big sister and mother to her five siblings when her parents passed away. As an adult, she enjoyed playing cards and dice and was very involved in the club Nifty Fifty. Rose also enjoyed having family gatherings and spending time with loved ones.

She graduated from Turlock High School in 1965 and married Harold "Bill" Harless in 1968 and together they settled in Riverbank in 1970. Sandy enjoyed reading, and doing ceramic and jewelry crafting. She owned and operated Hobby Horse in Riverbank during the 1990's.
Hildur was born on January 6, 1916 in Hilmar, CA to Axel and Matilda Carlson. Her parents were farmers. She had three sisters and two brothers. She graduated from Hilmar High School in 1934. She moved to San Francisco where she worked as a dental hygienist and met her future husband at 1st Covenant Church.
