Wayne Chandler, 64 of Turlock, passed away in the early morning hours on Friday, after a long battle with cancer. One of seven siblings, he was born to Alvin and Dixie Chandler in Turlock and attended Turlock High School. Raised in their family home on Sousa Street, his first job was for Souza's Furniture. Once he was old enough to drive, he took a job driving for Fontana's and found his calling 'where the rubber meets the road', spending most of his life as a long haul truck driver traveling the U.S. highways. Robert E. Larsson, died at 81 years of age in Turlock CA, on his birthday, November 15th. He will be sorely missed by many in San Diego and Turlock as a beloved veterinarian, friend, father and grandfather. He is survived by his son, Deron Larsson of Turlock CA, his daughter Robyn Edwards of Tucson, AZ and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to his church, Central Valley Presbyterian, PO Box 628, Ceres, CA, 95307. A memorial Service will be held there at 2020 Academy Place on Sunday, November 24th at 2:00 pm.
Darlene Arbina Borba Prouty, 83, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19th surrounded by her loving family at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA. After a long fight, her heart, body, mind and soul are now finally at peace.

Norene was born in Buckeye, Iowa to Bernie and Edna Evans. Her family lived in Washington for a time where Norene went to high school and later nursing school. She moved to Turlock in 1943 and has remained here since.
Linda Ann Johnson, lifelong resident of Turlock, passed away at the age of 68. She graduated from Turlock High School in 1963 and married Stanley Johnson in 1967. Linda worked at Emanuel Medical Center for 27 years; and in her spare time she enjoyed watching sports. Linda's family would like to thank Hospice of Emanuel for their tender care in the last few weeks.
Norma Emmelea Russell, 87, died November 6, 2013. She was born in Claremore, Oklahoma, the first of three children. Her family moved to California when she was just a young girl. She loved spending time with her family, taking her summer vacations in Murray, Kentucky, and she loved working in her yard with her little dog, Chuckie, at her side.
Maurice Richard Moniz Jr. (Junior), 19 of Ceres California passed away on November 8, 2013. Junior was born and raised in Ceres and graduated from Ceres High in 2012. Junior worked side by side with his dad building a family business, Moniz Tallow Company Inc. He was a momma & daddies boy. He loved to build lifted trucks, hang out with family and friends, ride his Harley and especially loved living life to the fullest "work hard play less".
Frances L. Williams – 75 of Modesto passed away on Tuesday. She was born in Cordell Oklahoma to Rosia and James Collins. Raised in Denair, Frances lived in Modesto for over 30 years and worked for Gallo for 33 years before retiring.
Tony Baltazar, 69 of Merced, passed away on November 1, 2013 after a long illness. Tony was born in Idaho and has lived in Merced for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan & Sarah Baltazar, his daughter, Lisa Baltazar, and his brother, Carlos Baltazar.
