Elsie was born in Crows Landing California on March 27, 1918, and passed quietly in her sleep early on the morning of November 2, 2011. She graduated from Orestimba High School in 1936 and soon after moved to San Francisco to attend nursing school. Dara Doyle-Selby, 50, of Turlock, passed away suddenly and tragically at Emanuel Medical Center. Dara was born to Gary and Rethia Doyle in Trona, California. She moved to Empire at age 3 and she graduated from Beyer High School in 1979. She attended MJC and graduated from Cal. State Stanislaus with a Bachelors' Degree in '83 and added a teaching credential in 1984. Her first teaching position was at Avenal High School. For the last 22 years Dara has taught Physical Education at Chatom Elementary School.

He was born in Turlock, Calif. in the Lillian Collins Hospital on August 9, 1925, the first born of the late Take and Zitaro Niizawa. Johnny leaves behind his wife Yoshiko Kotsubo Niizawa after 60 years and 11 months of marriage. He also is survived by his son Stanley T. Niizawa of Clovis. He was preceded in death by his daughter Janet H. Niizawa, in 1978.

He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, but to many others he was known as the owner of the 7-Eleven on Geer Road in Turlock. Marie Livingston, 89, of Turlock, passed away peacefully at Brandel Manor. Marie was born in Martin, South Dakota to Neil and Bessie O'Blenness. She grew up in Wenatchee, Washington, graduating from Wenatchee High School. Marie married the love of her life, Oliver Livingston, in December of 1943 while he was in the Army Air Corps. She cared for their first-born daughter, Barbara, during Oliver's tour of duty in Europe during World War II. Her family grew to five lovely children who celebrate her life.

Kathryn was born on May 6, 1927 to George and Bessie Hendryx in Salisaw OK. She came to Turlock, CA with her parents and brother, Jacob in 1942. She went to work for California Frozen Foods where she met Robert "Bob" Holder, the one and only love of her life. They were married on June 22, 1945 and spent 69 wonderful years together.
