Aurora N. Ferreira, 90, of Madera, died March 24 in Madera. She was born in Santa Luzia, Praia da Vitoria, Ilha, Terceira, Azores in 1920.
Aurora was a homemaker for 47 years and a member of Shrine Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine.
She is survived by her sons, Francisco Ferreira of Visalia, Antonio Ferreira of Dos Palos and Jorge Ferreira of Tennessee; daughters, Lucilia Amaral of Gustine and Maria Linhares of Orlando; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Our Lady of Miracles, Gustine. Burial will be at Hills Ferry Cemetery District.

Ruth Elaine Nunn

Ruth Elaine Nunn, 63, of Turlock, died March 25 in Turlock. She was born in Portland, Ore. in 1947.
Ruth was a homemaker for 35 years. She was legally blind, but she managed to achieve a master's degree in Biblical Theology. She had enough love to extend to a dear friend Tom, who she called her son. She studied Bible and taught Bible studies in her home for the last 15 years. She will be dearly missed by her best friend Bobbi Kost and all of her brothers and sisters.

Mary Cooper, 88, of Oakdale, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House. She was born in Thief River Falls, Minn. to John and Martha Baker, the 12th of their 13 children. She grew up in Minnesota until 1943, when she met and married the love of her life, James M. Cooper in 1946.

Marsha was a very hard worker and earned many awards over the 20 years she worked in the banking industry. More recently, Marsha worked as a caregiver where she found great joy in helping others. Jon Michael Dimter, 52, died of liver cancer on Saturday, March 26. Mr. Dimter grew up in Cupertino. For the past 12 years, he worked at the Fremont Unified School District as the director of finance. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Patterson Ward.
Mr. Dimter is survived by his grandparents, Vivian and Clarence Simmons; mother, Karen Bird; wife, Grace Dimter; children, Steven Dimter, Sarah Reeves, Brian Dimter, Rebecca Coughran and James Dimter; and sisters, Jolina Evans, Sheri Futch and Michelle Brower.

James Stanley Roach, also known to his friends and family as Jim Roach, passed away July 5, 2015, after his battle with cancer. Jim was a loving devoted father to Dallas Roach and a wonderful, loving grandfather to his two grandsons Dallas Roach II and Austin Roach. He had a very generous, sharing personality. Always there when you needed him and putting others before himself.
