Don Louis Burnett passed away unexpectedly at the age of 75. He was dearly loved by his wife, Linda Stotts-Burnett; children, David, Christopher and Nancy; step children, Debbi, Robin and Stefani and their spouses; and many grandchildren. We love you and miss you.
Marjorie Johnson Flood was born to parents, Hulda Alfrida Mattson and Ernest Nathaniel Johnson, on a farm on Green Lake in Isanti County, Minn. Her four siblings preceded her in death, two in infancy, and adult brothers, Russell and Marvin.
Ruth Waltrip was born December 1924 in Madera to the late Irving and Neva Moody. She was an office clerk for a printing company for many years. She settled in Turlock 13 years ago and passed away at Paramount Court in Turlock on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
Bob was born in Turlock at the old Emanuel Hospital to Roy and Carrie Hedstrom.Bob attended Lowell Grammar School and graduated from Turlock High School.He went on to attend Azusa College, and graduated from Trinity College in Chicago. He attended Trinity Seminary, California Baptist Theological Seminary, Berkeley Baptist Divinity School and California State University (master's degree).Bob worked at the Evangelical Free Church Turlock, First Baptist Church and Modesto First Baptist. Bob was a member of Turlock Covenant Church.
Esther Thorsen went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 28 in Turlock, at the age of 90.The second of four children, Esther was born in Hennessey, Okla.Her parents were Haskell and Myrtle Wells.As a small child, she moved with her family to California, eventually settling in Hughson.Esther attended Modesto Junior College, and worked at the Milk Producers, during World War II.After the war, Esther married Rodney J.B. Thorsen, owner of Thorsen's Plumbing, Inc., and moved to Turlock.
Katrina Andersson, 67, of San Jose passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12 at Emanuel Medical Center. She was born in Vastervik, Sweden to Folke and Ena Andersson in 1943. Katrina was raised in Sweden and in the 60s she immigrated to the United States. She married John Moore in 1965, and had two sons, Rob and Dan. Sulakhan Singh, 93, of Livingston passed away Saturday, Jan. 29 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. He was born in Pakistan to Mukhand Singh and Maha Kaur in 1917. Sulakhan was a farmer in Punjab, India for most of his life. He immigrated to Livingston in 2008, and was a member of the Livingston Sikh Temple. God and family were his life.
Verne Crowell died peacefully at home on April 3, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 8, 1916 at home on the corner of Monte Vista and Walnut Rd. and died in the home he built on the corner of Monte Vista and Crowell Rd.
Kevin Richard Stach, 75, of Turlock, passed away at his home on April 12, 2105. He was born July 4, 1939 in Nezperce, Idaho. After graduating from high school in Olympia, Washington he came to California and worked at the General Motors plant in Fairfield. When the plant closed and moved to Missouri he relocated there and finished his career with GM. After retiring Mr. Stach moved to Turlock. Kevin was a dune buggy enthusiast and loved working on Volkswagens. He volunteered at the Turlock V.F.W. and enjoyed cooking for their dinners and events.

Her parents, Gus Goza and Ruth Goza preceded her in death a number of years ahead of her. She leaves behind her husband Dave Zollinger of Turlock, CA; a son Robert Zollinger of Modesto, CA; a daughter Ruth Zollinger of Monterey, CA; and two grandchildren David G. Zollinger and Kara Zollinger. All of the family will indeed miss her. They so deeply loved their wife, mother and grandmother.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elsie in 2010, and a brother, Wallace Carlson. He is survived by his son Steve (Carmen) Silva of Delhi, granddaughter Ally Silva, and many extended family and friends.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Fox; children, Dr. Donald (Brenda) Fox, Douglas (Kim) Fox, Richard (Sheri) Fox, Jean Costa, Jamie (James) Myers, Janae Costa, Justin (Ashley) Costa, as well as 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind siblings, June Vandergriff, Marian (John) Alves, Shirley (Kay) Kajiwara, David (Sandra) Fox, and Michael (Beth) Fox.
Cindy is survived by nephew Kevin Shute; nieces Becky Mcevoy and Nellie Shute; 8 great nieces and nephews; 17 great great-nieces and nephews. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Lois Brownlow; sister Penny Irene Shute and niece Lisa Sears.
Barbara was born on the Lundell homestead in May 1919, to Henry and Lydia Lundell. She and her three brothers, Kenneth, Jerry and Glenn grew up on the ranch, riding in horse and buggies to and from school and church. They also formed a small band, since music was such an important part of their youth.
