Joan Snider, 86, of Turlock, passed away at her home. Joan was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to George and Gladyce Hartmann. She married Hallie Snider in April of 1952 in Sterling, Colorado. Hallie was a World War II Veteran who served in the US Navy. Joan worked in retail sales for over 40 years. She was married to Hal for 51 years before he passed away in 2003. Hal was a life member of the VFW and Joan was a 25 year member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Eleanor Manke Mensonides, a lifelong resident of the area, went to be with Jesus on September 2015 after a struggle with Lewy Body dementia. She was born in Ripon, California on July 1936, the second child of Gus and Martha Manke. Eleanor grew up on her parents' farm and learned early how to work hard at all sorts of chores, like feeding chickens and cows, gathering eggs, and picking peaches. She attended schools in Modesto, graduating from Modesto High in 1954. She earned an Associates degree in bookkeeping from Modesto Junior College in 1956 and worked in various secretarial positions ...
Lermon "Larry" Parker was born in Gatesville, Texas to Odus and Luna Parker in July of 1935. Larry grew up and graduated from high school in Texas. He continued his education at Foothill and De Anza Colleges in California.
Marge was born in Winton, CA to Earl & Esther Falke. She moved to Hilmar, CA at an early age. She was the oldest of seven children - Bud (Earl Jr.), Bob, Virginia Brown, Ray Wally, and Walt. All preceded her in death.

Carmen Johnson was born in Turlock at Emanuel Hospital on December 12, 1926 to Carl & Edith Johnson. She passed away at the age of 88 at Paramount Court with her loving husband of nearly 70 years by her side.
Vivian Ralston, 75, of Delhi, passed away at her home. Vivian was born in Aberdeen, Washington to Jack and Evelyn Ralston. She graduated from Leggett Valley High School, attended Humboldt State University, and graduated from Dental School in San Francisco. She worked for 10 years in at Turlock Dental Office and 29 years in the Foster Farms Insurance Claims Office. She enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing. She had been described as a "Little Tomboy".
Janet was born in Washington to John and Betty Fisher and passed away at the age of 74 in Patterson. Family was most important to her and she treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren. She worked at Emanuel Medical Center as a certified nursing assistant for most of her career. Janet loved playing bingo and most often played at Ranch Bingo in Modesto. She also enjoyed football and was an avid 49ers fan.
