Josephine Gearhardt, 89, of Turlock, passed away at Elness Convalescent Hospital after a long illness. Josephine was born in Durango, Colorado to Frank and Guadalupe Martinez. She completed her high school education and spent most of her adult life as a homemaker in her own home. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and making puzzles. Josephine loved to worship the Lord through the sign language ministry at Crossroads Free Church.

Floydine (Ping) Sorenson, Wenell, Johnson, Nielsen went home to be with her Lord Jesus on March 26, 2013. She was born in Livingston, CA to Soren & Ida Sorensen on January 9, 1924. Ping graduated from Turlock High School and married her high school sweetheart, Lawrence (Tubby) Wenell in 1942. They had three children. Gertrude Madge LeBrun was born on April 22, 1921 in Darlington, England and she entered her eternal life on March 17, 2013; the same day her husband died 8 years ago. She was a WWII bride and married her American Soldier, David LeBrun, on May 6, 1945 in Stroud, England before sailing on the Queen Mary in 1946 to her new life in America. Long time Turlock resident, Marcia Hartman, passed away Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Modesto. Marcia was born in Dallas Texas. She attended Central College in Kansas where she met her college sweetheart David Hartman, Sr. and they married in 1952. After pastoring several churches in both Texas and California they moved to Turlock in 1973. Marcia was employed with the Turlock School District as a secretary for nearly 30 years including 21 years at Osborn School. Marcia's love of music and playing the church organ for 60 years was truly a blessing.
Mary was born the third of eight Lull children in her beloved Rogue Valley and graduated from Central Point High School in 1947. Married to Robert McDonald of Eagle Point, she lived in Pullman, Puyallup and Turlock before they established the family farm in Hughson; where she died after living there for forty-four years.
