After a short bout with cancer, Kathie, age 63, died at home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Marge Johnson. Kathie is survived by her husband of 45 years Burt, her son Randy Lindquist of Turlock, her daughter Lorie (Phil) Wagner of Denair, and grandchildren Taryn and Caden Lindquist, Peter and Paul Wagner. Kathie is also survived by her two brothers, Jim (Cindy) Johnson of Elk, CA and Bob (Sandi) Johnson of Concord, CA. Kathie was always very proud of her family.
Age 25 entered into rest in Modesto, CA. She was an activity director for 2 years and a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock and S.P.R.S.I. Clarice Emily Espinola, 76, of Turlock, California died unexpectedly August 31, 2011 at her residence. She was born April 9, 1935, in Turlock, California to Frank and Emily Mello. After she received her Associates Degree from Modesto Junior College she married Manuel Espinola in July of 1962. She worked for TID for 31 years. She belonged to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock and enjoyed traveling.

After a short illness, Bill Hayes breathed his last on August 27, 2011. He had a bowel obstruction that made it impossible for him to eat or drink. He was 86 years old.

Carl was born to Elizabeth and Carl M. Jameson in a small town in OK. Richard Allen Root, 89, died September 18, 2014, at Elness Convalescent in Turlock. He was born March 21, 1925, in Los Angeles, California, to Frank and Emma (Berger) Root. At the age of 18 enlisted in the United States Army in the 558th Artillery Battalion. After his Honorable Discharge he settled in Turlock and attended Full Gospel Tabernacle before attending Victory Christian Church in Hilmar. He worked 25 years for Nulaid then retired from Martinez Plywood after 12 years.
