Julia Azevedo Da Silva passed away at Emanuel Medical Center with her family at her side at the age of 67. She was born in San Jorge, Acores, to parents Jose Vitorino Da Silva and Maria Azevedo. On October 6, 1962 she married Humberto Manuel Da Silva. They came to America with their two daughters and finally settling in Gustine, California where she has resided for the last 33 years.

In 1952 she married Charles Ray Taylor and they traveled the world with the U.S. Air Force. Walter Silva, 70, of Turlock passed away at home on Sunday, July 24. He was born and raised in Turlock. He had attended Mitchell School and worked as a heavy equipment operator for George Silva Dairy and Souza Spreading. He had attended House of Prayer in Oakdale. He was a member of the Out of Bounders RV Club and also liked gardening, fishing, raising animals and entertaining. He also was a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts. God and family were his life.
Julie, "Dollie", de Kelaita, 76, passed away at her Turlock home after a long illness. She was born to Kezakia and Julia De kelaita in Flint, Michigan. She attended schools in Michigan before moving to Turlock in 1945 at the age of 11. She graduated from Turlock High School. After high school she moved to the Bay Area, where she lived for nearly 50 years. Julie worked as a travel agent and enjoyed extensive travelling around the world. She loved animals and cared for many of them. Her favorite dog "Patches" recently died after 15 years of companionship.

Helen Ann Erickson Nelson was born in San Jose CA in 1930. She lived in the Santa Cruz area until grammar school when the family moved to Turlock. She went to Turlock schools, graduating from Turlock high School in 1948. After graduation she worked for her father at Erickson Auto Parts. She met Chuck Nelson through church activities. They were married in 1953 at the home of her parents, Roy and Ethel Erickson. They had two children, David Nelson and Denise Brenda both of Turlock. Alice Pera Yonan, 88, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Una Yonan, and sister, Diane Pera Yohannan. She is survived by her son, David Yonan, and daughter, Dina Yonan Gehring, her two sisters, Lillian Pera Abraham and Mariam Pera Miroo, and brother-in-law Albert D. Miroo. She was a Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, who will be loved and missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Assyrian Church of the East: Mar Addai Perish.

Shara Nickole Valadez, 21, died September 9, 2014. She was born December 10, 1992, in Salinas, California to Moises Alvarez and Sandra G. Alvarez. She grew up in Salinas until grade 4 when the family moved to the Central Valley. Shara attended Wakefield School, Dutcher School and Turlock High where she met the love of her life and future husband Chris Valadez. She attended Merced College as an Ag Business Major and worked at Home Depot. She is preceded in death by her brother Moses Alvarez, and Grandfather Guadalupe Alvarez.
William "Bill" Hartzell passed away peacefully on September 5th in Hughson, California. He is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is gone from our sight but forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Claudia was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father and three siblings: Sophia Alexi of Turlock, Robert Brimoanbi of Hawaii, and Albert Brimoanbi of Turlock.
Ila passed away peacefully in Turlock at the age of 94. She is predeceased by her husband William Versol Crow. She is survived by her three children, Sandy Snelling of Turlock, Judy Forrette (Gary) of San Mateo, and Gary Crow (Donna) of Cahone, Colorado. She was grandmother to nine, great-grandmother to 15, and great-great-grandmother to six. She is also survived by her sister Muriel Hartsell of Sonora, her sister-in-law OnaLou Lovelady Carter of Modesto, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Everett Beasley of Ceres CA passed away peacefully at Elness Convalesent Hospital in Turlock on September 7, 2014 at the age of 96. Born on July 11, 1918 in Rogersville, Missouri, Everett was the only child of Ernest and Eva Beasley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 12pm - 6pm at Allen Mortuary with the Rosary to follow at 8pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock.

Gus Coutrakis, 75, entered into rest August 31, 2014 at his self constructed hillside home near Lake Don Pedro. Hilda Ventura, age 79, passed away peacefully at Alexander Cohen Hospice House with her family by her side. She was born in Modesto to Frank and Rose Oliveira and lived most of her life in Turlock. She was married to her husband Louie Ventura for 60 years. Hilda worked for American Thread Company for 20 years until they closed. She retired from Emanuel Medical Center as a cook. Cmdr. Kenneth T. Sanders (1919-2014), pilot US Navy (retired), passed away peacefully on August 31, 2014 in Pensacola, FL. He was born in San Francisco as a 5th generation Californian whose family had migrated to CA in the late 1770's as part of the first overland expedition to the small hamlet of San Diego commanded by Juan Bautista de Anza travelling across the desert from Mission San Javier near Tuscon.
