Richard "Big Daddy" Gregory was born in San Jose to Arthur and Judy Gregory in 1956. He was raised in Milpitas and graduated from Milpitas High School. Richard served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1977 during the Vietnam War. He taught automotive repair and service working at ATCOA North. In 1989, he opened Turlock Appliance. James Stanley Roach, also known to his friends and family as Jim Roach, passed away July 5, 2015, after his battle with cancer.
