Rita Marie Guinasso Antroll, 93, died of CHF (congestive heart failure) at her home in Modesto on Saint Valentine's Day, after a long and productive life. Rita served in the US Navy during WW II while stationed at Bethesda Naval Hospital. She met and married her spouse in 1949, as they both were completing their military service.
Jerry was born in Martinez to George and Sadie Carter. He lived there until the 6th grade then moved to a farm in Turlock. He graduated from Turlock High and met his future wife, Martha, whom he married in 1956. He was in the National Guard for two years, and went to work at Shell Oil in Martinez in 1955. He retired at age 51 after 30 years at Shell.
Clifford Dick, 92, of Turlock, passed away at his home at Covenant Village. Clifford was born in Girard, Kansas to Harry and Florence Dick, one of three children. He attended school in Kansas before moving at age 12 to Turlock, California. Cliff attended Washington Elementary School and graduated from Turlock High School in 1942. She was married to her loving husband Johnny Lee Sharp for 40 years, until his untimely death in 1997, and she was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mark Jerome LaChapell, 68, of Turlock, California passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA. He was born in Turlock California to Frank and Camilla LaChapell. He graduated from Turlock High School in 1965 and later received a degree in electrical engineering. For 38 years he worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories as a senior electronics design engineer. Over the past 11 years he joined forces with his son, Scott, putting those same skills at work to build LaChapell Audio.
