Mary Cooper, 88, of Oakdale, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House. She was born in Thief River Falls, Minn. to John and Martha Baker, the 12th of their 13 children. She grew up in Minnesota until 1943, when she met and married the love of her life, James M. Cooper in 1946.
Mary enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling. She had many bowling friends at Yosemite and McHenry Lanes. Mary's greatest joy was spending time with her husband and family. During her final years she lived in Oakdale with her daughter and son-in-law. She will be extremely missed by ...

Juanita Looney entered into rest on Wednesday at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. She was born to wonderful, loving parents, Mr. Orphus James and Myrtle Marie Thomas in McCune, Kansas. She was raised on a farm, as farming was her father's occupation. She attended schools in the Pineville and Anderson, Mo. area. Marsha was born in Madera in 1948 to Edgar and Betty Williamson; she lived in Stanislaus County for the last 25 years. Marsha was a very hard worker and earned many awards over the 20 years she worked in the banking industry. More recently, Marsha worked as a caregiver where she found great joy in helping others. She was a Christian and spent most of her life serving the community.

Jon Michael Dimter

Jon Michael Dimter, 52, died of liver cancer on Saturday, March 26. Mr. Dimter grew up in Cupertino. For the past 12 years, he worked at the Fremont Unified School District as the director of finance. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Patterson Ward.
Mr. Dimter is survived by his grandparents, Vivian and Clarence Simmons; mother, Karen Bird; wife, Grace Dimter; children, Steven Dimter, Sarah Reeves, Brian Dimter, Rebecca Coughran and James Dimter; and sisters, Jolina Evans, Sheri Futch and Michelle Brower.

She was born on June 13, 1947 in Portland, Ore. She was a homemaker for 35 years; and although being legally blind, she managed to achieve a master's degree in Biblical theology.
