Sam Godje, 47, passed away at Doctors Medical Center after an extended illness. Sam was born in Baghdad, Iraq to William and Christina Godje. He moved to Iran where he attended elementary school and to Connecticut at Age 14. He graduated from High School in Connecticut and later received an Associate's Degree. Rose Marie Miner,79 of Turlock passed away at home with her family by her side. Marie was born in Bartlesville, OK to Albert and Olive Duffey. Marie married Floyd Miner in 1951, sharing 61 years together. Marie worked at Emanuel Hospital for over 15 years as a switchboard operator and she volunteered for the past 8 years at St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Shop in Patterson, Ca.
Mary Perry, 99, of Modesto passed away on Saturday, March 24 in Turlock. She was born in Hayward, CA to Antone and Mary Damas in 1912. She had lived in Denair, Hughson and Modesto since 1917. Mary had served during WWII in the Army Air Corps WAC and later ran a dairy with her husband and children for 29 years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hughson, SPRSI #96, YLI #193, UPPEC #56, Luso-American #2950, Turlock VFW Post 5059 the Ladies Auxiliary and the Altar Society. She sacrificed her life for the church and family.
Marjorie Miller, 92, of Turlock, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. Marjorie was born in Texas, one of 6 children born to Mr & Mrs Harrelson. She was raised in Missouri and attended schools in Missouri. She married Charles "Chuck" Edward Miller in Prineville, Oregon in 1945. Chuck and Marjorie and her family ran a commercial fishing business in Kenai, Alaska. She was a housewife and was involved with running the family business for 50 years.

Donald Leon Swanson crossed the threshold to Heaven on May 14th, 2015 at the age of 91. Don was born on September 17th, 1923 to Warner and Vera Swanson, pioneers of the Youngstown Colony of Swedish immigrants in Turlock, settling on Swanson Road in Delhi.
