Marge was born in Winton, CA to Earl & Esther Falke. She moved to Hilmar, CA at an early age. She was the oldest of seven children - Bud (Earl Jr.), Bob, Virginia Brown, Ray Wally, and Walt. All preceded her in death.
John Kelly Shackelford, a godly man, is now in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born in Oklahoma in January 16th 1930, Kelly, as he was known, was part of a large family and was one of ten children.
Carmen Johnson was born in Turlock at Emanuel Hospital on December 12, 1926 to Carl & Edith Johnson. She passed away at the age of 88 at Paramount Court with her loving husband of nearly 70 years by her side.
Vivian Ralston, 75, of Delhi, passed away at her home. Vivian was born in Aberdeen, Washington to Jack and Evelyn Ralston. She graduated from Leggett Valley High School, attended Humboldt State University, and graduated from Dental School in San Francisco. She worked for 10 years in at Turlock Dental Office and 29 years in the Foster Farms Insurance Claims Office. She enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing. She had been described as a "Little Tomboy".
Janet was born in Washington to John and Betty Fisher and passed away at the age of 74 in Patterson. Family was most important to her and she treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren. She worked at Emanuel Medical Center as a certified nursing assistant for most of her career. Janet loved playing bingo and most often played at Ranch Bingo in Modesto. She also enjoyed football and was an avid 49ers fan.
Hilmar native and Turlock resident Jean Charlotte Ogle, Nee Sousa, passed away at her home on July 29th at the age of 64. She was a devoted mother, an avid chocolate enthusiast, a lover of books, and a friend to all animals until the very end.
Steve Lindberg Allen, 86, of Turlock, CA passed away at his residence on August 12, 2015. Steve was born in 1929 in Sonora, Guaymas, Mexico to Jewel and Teresa Allen. The family had come back into the U.S. when Steve was 16 years old. It was the highlight of his life to know he was a U.S. citizen, but also a bittersweet moment to love Mexico as well because it had never left his heart.
Florence Woodard, 91, of Denair, was born in Kelly, Kansas, one of 14 children of Julius and Anna Berger. As a young girl, Florence helped her father farm a section of land with a team of horses while her brothers went off to the war. She was a rugged, hard-working lady. They raised corn, wheat, hogs, & cattle; they had a huge vegetable garden, they even made their own soap. In her early 20's Florence got a job at a candy counter in a dime store in Salina, Kansas. Lyman, or Ed as he was known, was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to Lyman and Naomi Wheeler. He attended school in Wauwatosa, Washington, and Lee, VA and graduated from Piedmont, CA High in 1949. He then attended San Jose State and graduated with a degree in Aeronautics and a commission as a 2nd Lt in the USAF.
