Ernestine was born in Merced to Chester and Effie Grissom. She spent most of her life in the Merced area and lived in Mariposa for the last 24 years with her loving and devoted companion, Arvin Redding.

Albert Navarette, Jr., 60 of Turlock, passed away at his home after a two-year illness. Albert was born in Fresno to Albert Sr. and Virginia Navarette. He attended schools in Visalia and graduated from Redwood High School. After high school Albert served in the U.S. Army for a short time. In 1975 he married the love of his life, Susan Amaro. Montana was born in Red Lodge, Mont. on Jan. 14, 1918. She attended schools in Washington State. In 1948, she began her career with the State of California, working in various departments until 1974 at which time she retired.
