Turlock dodges worst of weekend storm

While Turlock actively prepared for what was originally forecast to be the storm of a decade this past weekend, the city came out relatively drier than other regions throughout California which were dealt blizzard warnings and flooding, leaving many residents without power or forced to evacuate.

Buy, sell and trade at Mid Valley Pawn

Josh Gottlieb is no stranger to the pawn business. The owner of Turlock's newest shop, Mid Valley Pawn, essentially grew up in the industry, as his parents ran a pawn shop of their own in Sonora. Now, his expertise in the pawn business has enabled him to successfully open the city's first pawn shop in nearly a decade.

Mayor visits library story time
