With the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee looking to unseat over 60 Republicans in the not-so-distant 2018 elections – seven of which are Californians – local organizations like the Democratic Women's Club of Stanislaus County are focused on training volunteers to help flip districts from red to blue.

Getting to know the neighbors

Kart Raggi, Harleen Maitla and Harry Atwal delivered pizza to their neighbor Jose Corrales Friday evening during the second day of the Know Your Neighbor event. About 75 high school students and college students who are a part of the Jakara Movement, gathered at the Sikh Temple Turlock on Friday evening to go door to door and deliver pizzas to their neighbors. The event allowed the Sikh community to get to know their neighbors and others to learn about their culture.

Marathon moms run race in honor of late husbands
