Turlock comes together to provide for those in need

Approximately 1,600 families will receive boxes of food and new toys today, making their holidays a little bit brighter, thanks to the hard work and generosity of the community through the Turlock Together program.

Turlock singer's Levi's Stadium dreams cut short

The competition was stiff and Turlock High sophomore Felisha Dias had a great audition, but the Maria Carrillo High School Jazz Choir from Santa Rosa, California was named the winner of the Foster Farms Bowl "Oh Say, Can You Sing?" contest and will have the honor of singing the national anthem before kickoff at the 2015 Foster Farms Bowl.

There will definitely be a farmers' market in downtown Turlock come next season, however, the organization running it is still up in the air as City Council voted on Tuesday to implement a Request for Proposal process to see whether or not Turlock Certified Farmers' Market would carry on with its seventh season or if newcomer Golden State Farmers' Market Association would bring its farmers' market vision to life in downtown Turlock.
