A local store that sells items which have seen their fair share of years pass is now celebrating a birthday of its own. Main Street Antiques will turn 20 on Aug. 1, and for the past two decades the downtown location has provided the Turlock community with a wide variety of unique antiques.

The Stanislaus County Fair and the Salvation Army are holding a toy drive at the Fair gates on Thursday. Fair guests who donate one or more toy will receive two carnival ride tickets from Butler Amusements. All donations will help local children receive gifts for Christmas this year.
