Leadership class renovates Turlock Pregnancy Center
If a helping hand is nice, multiple sets of them certainly can get some work done fast. At least that's what the staff of the Turlock Pregnancy Center learned after the center's reception area was recently renovated as part of a project undertaken by the 11 graduating members of the Leadership Turlock Class of 2011.
New Dairy Princess crowned
Alyssa Melo of Dos Palos was selected as the 2011-2012 Dairy Princess for the California Milk Advisory Board's (CMAB) District 6/3. The crowning took place before a crowd of approximately 250 dairy industry members and their families and friends, on June 16 at Our Lady of the Assumption Portuguese Hall in Turlock.
Servicemen and women to be honored in Patriotic Parade
The Turlock Patriotic Parade committee is inviting active military personnel and Gold Star families to be honored guests at this year's event.
