National anthem contest seeks youth singers

Youth singers of the Central Valley looking for their chance to shine will have an opportunity to serenade a crowd of 70,000 people thanks to a contest held by the Foster Farms Bowl to perform the national anthem before this year's bowl game at Levi's Stadium.

Turlock 'Dancing' stars deliver donations

The Dancing with the Turlock Stars cast and board members visited Jessica's House Friday to deliver a $50,000 check from funds raised during the third annual event in September. DWTTS Board President Kristin Bettencourt said that the event managed to raise $154,000, with Jessica's House, Salvation Army and Covenant Care Hospice each receiving a $50,000 share of profits.
