Today is the last day of the Friends of the Turlock Public Library annual book sale. The group sells hardbound books for $1 and most paperbacks for 50 cents, all of which raises much-needed funds for the library's operating budget.
Over the years, the Stanislaus Economic Development and Workforce Alliance has committed itself to helping new, existing and expanding businesses throughout the county. With the help of a recent grant from Wells Fargo Bank, hundreds of business owners will soon receive the assistance they need.
