Senior Chorus delivers weekly inspiration

Classic movie and show tunes like "When You Wish Upon a Star" and "June in January" rang throughout the walls of Paramount Court Senior Living on Tuesday afternoon, much to the delight of those watching the performance. But, it wasn't a Broadway ensemble that had made its way into the assisted living home – it was the talent of the Turlock Senior Chorus which drew applause of approval from the small crowd.

Gabrielle Aguiar-Forrest is the owner of Alegria Ballroom Dance Academy in downtown Turlock. She's married and has a 14-year-old stepson and 2-year-old toddler. Gabrielle and her husband live on a 10-acre ranch which they share with Mark Sr. and Robin Forrest - and many animals and dead plants. She has two older sisters, Lucia and Cecilia Aguiar, who own Aguiar Milk Testing, a family business.
