Kenwood Park Lighting District gets final approval

The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors approved the results of an election to form a lighting district in Kenwood Park, a county island centered on Starr Ave. and Kenwood Ave. which is entirely surrounded by the City of Turlock.

Fate of former homeless center building still unknown

Since the Turlock Gospel Mission moved its Homeless Assistance Ministry out of the City of Turlock owned property at 1030 East Ave. last fall, the building has seen little activity.
