A 54-year-old Turlock man was sentenced to federal prison Monday for possession of child pornography. Charles Albert Risley was sentenced to 15 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release, the Department of Justice reported. New juvenile center focuses on rehabilitation

Stanislaus County's new $22.7 million Juvenile Commitment Center opened Friday with an emphasis on educating and rehabilitating the youths at the facility.
