A man caught speeding and weaving down a busy Turlock street was arrested for child endangerment after officers found eight children in his truck.Just before midnight on Sunday Doroteo Gonzales, 40, was spotted by officers driving a Chevy pickup in the area of East Avenue and Center Street. A man who had been taken into custody for public intoxication is now facing assault charges after he attacked a Turlock Police officer while en route to jail.Adam Vasconcellos was picked up around 12:30 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of E.
