Back to school means back to finding afterschool childcare for many local parents. The Turlock Unified School District stepping in to help by providing more after school assistance for academically disadvantaged students.
The campus community and public are invited to attend CSU Stanislaus Night at the Turlock Farmers Market. The event will take place at the Main Street and Broadway Avenue from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 6.
The University of California Merced hit a milestone this academic year with the largest and most diverse class of incoming freshmen, the largest contingent of graduate students, the largest total enrollment and the largest body of faculty members in its history.
This fall, freshman enrollment of 1,600 students will exceed last year's then-record class size by about 100 students.
