The purpose of the meetings was to communicate to parents what the standards and expectations are for students and to discuss strategies and tools parents can use to increase student success in the classroom. Students from Osborn Two-Way Immersion Academy's Ballet Folklorico performed a Mexican dance during the 16 de Septiembre Celebration held Friday at the school. Hundreds of families attended the event, which featured student dancing, traditional clothing, tamales, ice cream, corn on the cob and cold drinks.
