Osborn Two-Way Immersion Academy hosted its annual Dia del Niño celebration on Friday, where students and their families participated in various activities, ate food, and explored the campus. According to Principal Ed Ewing, the purpose of the event is to give parents the opportunity to celebrate their children and show them that they care.

Family Fitness Day

For nearly a decade, Turlock Unified School District Head Start Program family service workers have partnered with Brett Forray and Julie Fox from the CSU Stanislaus Office of Service Learning and Larry Reynolds from the CSU Stanislaus Athletic Program to host the annual Family Fitness Day. According to Head Start coordinator Judy Huerta, the purpose of this event is to inform and educate parents on the importance of their children's health and to encourage the incorporation of physical activity at home.
