Turlock High School held their annual election convention Wednesday with students vying for student government positions and a representative seat on the Turlock Unified School District's Board of Trustees. Turlock Unified to appeal boundary line decision

The Turlock Unified School District plans to appeal the Stanislaus County Committee on School District Organization's decision to deny a proposal that would have transferred approximately 92 acres of currently uninhabited land in north east Turlock from the Denair Unified School District to the Turlock Unified School District.

Audit seeks to open books on school libraries

The California Joint Legislative Audit Committee has approved an audit request by Senator Tony Mendoza (D-Artesia) on a unanimous, bipartisan vote of 11 to 0 vote that seeks to determine whether California's K-12 schools are providing the mandated services to students, and if those services are being provided by fully-trained, credentialed teacher librarians.

Denair Middle School celebrates ‘Pi Day’ with pie and math, of course

Pie is sweet. It's even sweeter when one gets to smash it into someone's face. A pie to the face was how Denair Middle School kicked off its celebration of "Pi Day." Pi Day commemorates the most recognizable mathematical constant in the world. Pi is the ratio of any circle's circumference to its diameter. Its value is approximately equal to 3.14159265 - with the beginning numbers, 3.14, making March 14 the perfect day to honor the constant.

Denair teachers seek promised salary restoration
