Students taking part in the school's 29th annual Election Convention got a taste of what it's really like to be a part of the political scene thanks to the event, which serves as an all-day election process for student body officers.

All 3rd grade classes are learning about civil rights and wanted to honor Chavez for what would be his 91st birthday March 31. Modesto Junior College alumnus Tim Truax topped stiff competition to become the 2018 Young Farmers and Ranchers National Collegiate Discussion Meet Champion in Reno, Nevada last weekend. The annual YF&R conference attracted over 50 competitors, each one the champion in their home state in order to earn the opportunity to compete.
