Come Back Kids program moves to a new location in Turlock

With a new location in Turlock, the Come Back Kids Charter School Program is hoping that increased accessibility and a larger space will encourage more people who - for whatever reason - were unable to complete high school to "come back" and finally earn their diploma.

Turlock Unified votes to solicit bids for Child Nutrition Education Center again

A scaled-back proposal for the Child Nutrition Education Center that was more in line with Turlock Unified School District's budget was presented to the Board of Trustees Tuesday, a month after the project was found to cost a considerable amount more than what was originally anticipated.

Turlock Christian celebrates open house

The new elementary campus officially opened for school Jan. 4 of this year after being purchased last spring from the Medic Alert Foundation. Third graders make blankets to keep peers warm following trauma

Whether or not they have been exposed to violence or trauma themselves, third grade students at Medeiros Elementary School selflessly empathized with those who have by making and donating over 40 blankets to Focusing on Children Under Stress, a program that helps students who have undergone a emotionally disturbing experience by making sure the school they attend knows to focus on the child and handle them with care.
