The Turlock High varsity baseball team claimed the 2016 Central California Conference title after a 5-2 win at home on Thursday that was highlighted by an entire team effort including starting pitcher Landon Curtis who tossed a complete game, allowing just a pair of runs on seven hits while striking out four.
Turlock High varsity boys golf team won the Central California Conference tournament on Monday at Pheasant Run after the team, which was led by sophomore Connor Old's best score the day at 75, shot a combined 393.
The Pitman varsity girls swim team are the Central California Conference champions for the fifth time in school history after coming away with a victory in Saturday's league meet. The Pitman boys ended with a third place result.
