Forget all the jaws that fell to the ground after clobbering well-respected small school Oakdale High at the recently renovated Joe Debely Stadium in Week 2. Hilmar QB suffers season-ending injury

There was hope that Hilmar High quarterback Andrew Olson would be just fine after he had an ugly fall late in the Yellowjackets' game against Enochs High on Sept. 10, seeing that he was waving to his home crowd as he was being carried off on a stretcher.

Hilmar to continue tough preseason schedule

During the summer, Hilmar High football coach Frank Marques posted on the CIF Web site requesting teams to play during the Yellowjackets' preseason schedule. He had no agenda, no particular requests. In other words, he didn't want to discriminate against any teams.
