Pitman track 'Sweeps' up

The Central California Conference track and field championships were dominated by host schools Pitman and Turlock on Saturday. Turlock and Pitman both combined for nine first place finishes, with the Pride tallying six and the Bulldogs coming away with three in a day that saw both Turlock squads shine.

Coming off a historic win for Pitman softball, the Pride were confident going into the second round of the Division I CIF Sac-Joaquin section playoffs. But Vacaville, the fifth ranked team in California, was able to play mistake free while Pitman's six errors led to a 9-0 loss.

Turlock baseball extinguishes Flames in D-I playoffs

The past two years have been Turlock baseball's time to shine and Thursday's Division I CIF Sac-Joaquin Section round two playoff game against Lodi was no exception. Despite a rocky start on the mound, the Bulldogs pulled off a 9-3 win over the Flames, securing a spot in the quarterfinals.

Hawks over Cardinals, onto quarterfinals

Delhi High's softball team is on to the quarterfinals of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division VI softball tournament after Thursday's 13-2, first round playoff win over Woodland Christian High. The Hawks ravaged the Cardinals of the Central Valley California League with a one-two punch from the plate and pitcher's mound as Briana Lopez and Alyssa Stockton applied a steady stream of pressure through the game's five innings.

Six Pride athletes ready to play at the next level

Pitman High honored six college-bound seniors Monday afternoon as classmates, teammates, parents, coaches, and administrators piled into the Black Box Theatre to witness each athlete sign their respective letters of intent. In the school's biggest mass signing to date, three football players, a softball player, a baseball player, and a volleyball player secured their athletic futures while being praised for their commitment and dedication.
