Hilmar softball rallies in seventh

With the weather not being a factor just yet, the Hilmar girls softball squad was able to pull off a two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Central Catholic 6-5 in a non-league game on Monday.

The Pitman and Turlock soccer teams finally met on the field Friday after Wednesday's game was postponed due to much-needed rain. The delay only increased the tension, as the rival Central California Conference teams battle for the full 80 minutes.

Pitman tops Turlock in late innings

Turlock and Pitman High softball teams marked the end of the first round of league play with an old fashioned rivalry game Tuesday afternoon. In the first cross-town matchup of the season, the Pride welcomed the Bulldogs to Arrowhead Field where the two waged a defensive battle for much of the game.

Delhi tennis rallies for close win over Denair

Pitman takes first at Nor Cal Relays

The sun was shining bright and early on Saturday, an added bonus to the local swimmers competing as part of the 12 school teams at the Nor Cal Relays at Johansen High. The bright outlook continued, at least for Pitman High, which ended the day on top in overall points.
