First round heartbreak: Turlock falls two points short to Tracy

It was déjà vu for the Bulldogs of Turlock High when they traveled to Tracy High for the first round of the CIF Division I Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs. As was the case when the two Bulldog teams met in week 5, Turlock found itself just two points shy of victory after a failed two-point conversion attempt cemented a final score of 21-19

One stop drop for Pride

The Pitman Pride varsity football team went into Friday's Division-I CIF Sac-Joaquin Section round one tournament game looking to rebound from last week's disappointing Harvest Bowl loss to Turlock. However, the Pride met a very demanding Napa High team, who controlled the field from the onset.

‘Jackets volleyball top Orestimba in playoffs for sixth straight win

The Hilmar High volleyball team entered the CIF Division IV Sac-Joaquin Section Girls Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday as the number two seed and heavy favorites. The Yellowjackets lived up to their hype, defeating number 15 seed Orestimba High, 3-0, (25-13, 25-18 and 25-17).

Pitman volleyball rolls through first round

Pitman High took its first post-season step Monday night when its girls hosted McClatchy High of Sacramento in the first round of the CIF Division I Sac-Joaquin Section Girls Volleyball Tournament. The top seeded Pride dispatched the Lions with relative ease, 3-0 (25-13, 25-5 and 25-6), as they outsized and overpowered their opponent on the court.

Pride girls polo lose in opening round

The Pitman High girls water polo team had one of the program's most successful regular seasons in 2014, as the Pride made the postseason for only the second time in seven years and the first since a five-year hiatus when the team made it in 2008.

Pitman volleyball claims fourth straight CCC title

The Central California Conference volleyball season is over, brought to an end with Monday's cross-town match-up between Pitman and Turlock High. The Pride's 3-0 (25-15, 25-14 and 25-16) defeat of the Bulldogs secured their fourth consecutive CCC title as they finished undefeated in league for the third year in a row.
